Week 2
I have studied the GAC course for two weeks now. The best thing is that I can understand mostly what the teacher said. Even if there are few new words, I can understand them after teacher’s explanation. The IT course is easy for me now, because I am familiar with word processing, so I only need to know the English terms. The IT test this week was easy, but the practical listening test was a little difficult, it was a little hard for me to listen carefully to the CDs and tale notes at the same time. So I have to work on that. Since I can understand most common conversations, I need not to spend much time on English movies. Though I love movies, I have to use those time to watch some documentaries or discovery videos and practice taking notes every week.

When I finished my time chart on page seventeen of the study skills textbook, I was surprised that I wasted a lot of time during the last two weeks. I did not act fast and I spend most lunch time talking with others. I did not make good use of the two hours that I spent on baseach day, therefore I am planning to review vocabulary and preview classed during that time.

Wanting get prepared for college, I came to this GAC Training Center, and I expect to build a good study habit which will benefit me in higher education. I am aiming to be admitted by a top Liberal Arts College in America and this goal motivated me to do my job as perfect as possible in GAC courses.

两个星期前，我开始了GAC课程的学习。在这两个星期里面我觉得自己收获颇丰，除了自己的英语水平有了大幅度的提高外，自己已经能够轻松的看懂英文电影之外，GAC还教会了我有关IT方面的相关知识。当然了我知道我还存在很多的不足，但是我相信GAC的学习会帮助我逐步克服自身的不足。同时我也相信，在GAC的学习过程中养成的良好的思维习惯、学习习惯会对我以后的工作产生很大的、很积极的影响。
